Dedicated to performance and music education, Antonio Fermin has appeared at Alice Tully Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and has performed throughout Latin America and Europe. Collaborations include Sonidos de las Américas: Venezuela at Carnegie Hall, sponsored by the American Composers Orchestra; Aspen Ballet Santa Fe at the Aspen Music Festival; Williams College's Puente Sonoro: A Festival of Latin American Musics; Cuarteto Latinoamericano; Pittsburg Concert Chorale, and Modesta Bor: Perspectives at Carnegie Hall. As Manager of Elementary School Programs at Carnegie Hall, he created programs aimed at motivating young audiences. He has served as senior editor for nation-wide music education programs for McGraw-Hill Education, Scholastic, PBS Kids, and the Aspen Music Festival. Fermin has taught at The Juilliard School Pre-College Division, New York University, and Columbia Grammar School. He is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music and holds a master’s from The Juilliard School and a Ph.D. from New York University's Graduate School of Education.
